Debs,
Not sure what a birthing ball is for, didn't have them "in my day".
If you want to help labour along you probably know all the usual old wives tale stuff (all based on sound medical principles so I am told) - raspberry leaf tea, currys, lots of sex and nipple stimulation!! The only thing that worked for me - was a jolly good row with Andy, although I had good reason at the time as you know & I'm sure you have no reason - so afraid you will have to wait until nature, and Flump, decide.
Best of luck, see you soon, thinking of you
